This video is hosted by David Jones who teaches on a range of topic but specifically Forex Basics. David Jones is now the Chief Market Strategist at capital.com so has plenty of experience and background, you can find his full history here on his Linkedin Page (David Jones)

As you can imagine this Trading 212 is all about how to place your first-ever Forex trades. It's a simple and clear message that may seem insignificant yet it is so deeply important. Placing trades is at the heart of trading and if you're not doing it correctly or efficiently you simply won't make a profit or make as much as you should be.

In this video, David Jones goes over the platform functionality of Trading 212, such as switching to different Forex currencies. A very important quote that David goes over how to place small trades that don't break the bank and are quick to process. This is really helpful for new traders who don't want to be risking too much capital per trade.

David also then goes on to explain how after a trade is placed how to monitor it and what you're looking for exactly. Such as the quantity, direction, current price and much more. Placing a trade is the easy part, monitoring it and knowing when to exit is where it gets much harder. Being able to properly manage your trades is an overlooked asset that not many individuals can make good use of.

It's so promising that Trading 212 goes into detail about how to place trades on their platform before you've even signed up. This free information is so valuable and something that very few Forex Brokers offer.

How to Use Limit / Stop / OCO orders (Youtube Link)

(11:31 minute video)

This video is hosted by Peter Martin, a relic of the Forex community who has even written books on Forex. He's been featured in the majority of Trading 212's video content so is a very accurate source of information.

Peter Martin goes into great detail about all of the different types of trades that can be made on the Trading 212 platform. Peter speaks about and explains what Stop losses, Limit orders, take profit and many more are and what they mean for your trading.

Peter goes into detail as to where these types of orders can be used and how you can make the most of them in your trading. Such as for taking profit at a safe and more risk averse level, buying at low prices, and entering and exiting trades without the need to actually be there at the time - which greatly benefits mobile traders.

After explaining what all of these orders mean and how to use them, Peter then provides examples of where and how to use them on the actual Trading 212 platform. What's really great is Peter shows you exactly HOW to place these types of orders on the trading 212 platform. At first, the Trading 212 platform (like any other trading platform) can look very daunting to you, but thanks to videos like these, the platform becomes second nature to you.

How to Trade Currency Pairs (Youtube Link)

(10:39 minute video)

This video is hosted by Peter Martin, a relic of the Forex community who has even written books on Forex. He's been featured in the majority of Trading 212's video content so is a very accurate source of information.

Peter recaps and goes over what are the main or major currency pairs as they're often referred to as, which ones these pairs are what they mean for you. Peter also refers to commodity pairs, this plays an important role in currency trading so stick around till the end.

Currency crosses are also a big talking point in this video, Peter goes over what currency crosses are, how they affect your trading directly, which are the heaviest crosses and which ones you need to look out for.

Peter ends the video by speaking about exotic currency pairs, these pairs always have the highest volatility and lowest trading volume, so you should definitely avoid if you are a newbie to trading. You must stick around till the end to hear Peter mention which exotic pair plays the biggest and most important role in the exotic pair section.

Genadiy points to a number of Trading 212 youtube videos in this section that all provide valuable information and Trading 212 platform tips that are extremely helpful, especially for beginner traders.

2. 'However I am positive that our Learning Centre will be of great help as well, where a potential client can read more about the trading basics'

Trading 212 has an awesome and easy to understand learning centre that revolves around:

Trading Modes How to use Charts Concepts and Terms Economic Indicators

All 4 of these categories includes multiple detailed sub-categories including simple and advanced practices such as; 'What is Hedging mode and How is it Different form the Aggregating mode' and so much more.

The main things a beginner should first look at is what are the Trading concepts and terms. There is a whole interactive A-Z list of every single trading term you can imagine in the learning centre, the term or concept is then explained in simple detail so that you can understand it from a foundation level.

For those of you that are heavily interested in fundamental data (most of you should be that trade Forex), Trading 212 has a whole interactive sheet of the Economic news/reports that will be released. This includes the Economic Indicators name, Country originated from, General impact (ranked red to green) and the release date for each. This is some huge super helpful free content that Trading 212 has collated together for you all in one place. This will enable fundamental Forex Traders to have a bird's eye view of the market from a single dashboard.

3. 'Our News, Economic Calendar and Daily Analysis page will help keep clients in touch with the latest trends on the market.'

If you're ever looking at any chart, then this interactive and user friendly dashboard should be open on your desktop at all times.

Trading 212 has really pulled out all the stops with this insanely helpful resource. Within the dashboard there is a:

News section
Economic Calendar
Chart Analysis

The 'News Section' has a complete record of economic and currency reports that date back years, this whole collection of reports would allow advanced traders to complete back testing to another degree, taking into account all of the financial/currency report data for years. The News Section also shows real time reports that are being released as we speak. This information is super helpful to stay on track and ahead of the game. Settings can be adjusted to your timezone.

The 'Economic Calendar' as mentioned above shows when countries are going to release important macroeconomic data that can change the tide of the charts in an instant. Collated together Trading 212 has shown the time of release, currency most affected, impact level, event, period, actual result, forecasted result and previous result. This type of fundamental data is hugely important for any Forex trader, and is great to have a free version sitting on your desktop for you to use at anytime inside Trading 212. Settings can be adjusted to your timezone.

The 'Analysis' tab is where Trading 212 really step it up a gear. Imagine you're completely new to trading forex and looking/reading charts (maybe you don't have to), and you have no idea what is happening/why they are moving in such a way. All you have to do is go to the Trading 212 Analysis tab and read away. There is a list of all of the currency pairs and when clicked on the interactive dashboard brings up a quick summary paragraph of the pair/assets. It also has a record of each pair/asset dating back years. This is also great for advanced traders who just need to get an idea of why a currency has moved in a certain direction, without having to dig too deep or do self analysis. Trading 212 is the only broker we have found to have this excellent must have tool.

The last thing Genadiy (Trading 212 employee) had to say was that 'Last, but not least, you can assure your potential clients that a Video Tutorial will be displayed in the platform once they open an account. The tutorial highlights the main features of the app - how to open a trade, modifications, prices, etc.'

The video is a straightforward ultimate guide to Trading 212 and how to use the platform, especially for beginner traders. Trading 212 may not be the only forex/trading broker to use this style of teaching but we believe Trading 212 does it best.

The above explainer video can be viewed here: Trading 212 Homepage and can be viewed after you set up your first free account.
